Like most Canadian cities, our Bay store here had an attached parking
structure, with covered walkway for easier year-round access. In 2006,
this aging member of the Saskatoon landscape was deemed fit for removal
and the resulting devastation was nearly immediate. It took months to
clean up and I did a substantial number of shoots here. I love this shot,
though for the stark contrast between the flattened parking garage and
the street level signs instructing citizens to park in the most confusing
of manners.
