2006 was a busy year for me, and marked the first time I managed to get this natural phenomenon onto an emulsion. Taken at the intersection of Highway 5 and 41 east of Saskatoon, this Prairie storm was long-lived and violent, shaking the humid flatland with nearly every strike, wheeling away and falling back over and over again.
